I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you?? 

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

    Thanks Nagi, I love all your easy and tasty recipes especially when I can freeze half for another meal. Also love your salads and soups. I would appreciate more vegetarian recipes especially a veggie version of the Chickpea Lamb Shawarma Soup.

    I just bought a spiralizer and have lots of zucchini and summer squash in our garden. I’m wondering if you have ever attempted to use “zoodles”, in place of noodles in any of your recipes. I love everything you send! Jan

    As for request of recipes…slow cooker ones thanks and any other (lean) lamb recipes. (The fat on lamb bothers my throat but love the taste of well prepared lean lamb).

    Hi Nagi, first I want to say…. I love your blog, thank you!

    My daughter and my 6 month old granddaughter come over once a week for dinner when my son-in-law works late. I make this night special to give my daughter a break since she doesn’t get to eat a hot meal anymore! I often make a lot of your recipes, and my daughter eats an uninterrupted meal while I hold my granddaughter. For that reason, I try to pick recipes that can be prepped “ahead of time” so I can spend as much time with my granddaughter as possible, rather than being stuck in the kitchen while she’s here. So can you post recipes that are mostly prepped “ahead of time” and just need a quick last minute finishing touch… perhaps cast iron skillet or Dutch oven dishes that can be prepared early and then popped into the oven as the last step? I know you already have some and I tried them all already (all yummy) . Thank you soooooo much. I love your recipes. And I love your blog and sense of humor! I appreciate you very much!

    After trying your Bangers and Mash recipe and a few others, I’ve fallen in love with your gravies – I’d really love to see your take on a classic Steak and Kidney Pie (or Steak and Mushroom) or perhaps a good recipe for Toad in the Hole…

    I’d love to see more freezer friendly recipes. I seem to be making the same ones over and over and getting quite bored. I’m a single gal, so I like recipes that I can cook up, and freeze all the leftovers, and they reheat nicely. Love to see what you think?

    I have a pressure cooker which barely sees the light of day! I would love to use it more for what would normally be very slow cooked joints of meat. I am a Heston fan and regularly roast joints at low temperatures for 8-9 hrs producing beautifully soft outcomes but on some occasions spped would be useful.

    Anything spicy/BBQ esque would be a bonus.

    Hello:
    As someone recently diagnosed with GERD (Gastroesophogeal Reflux Disease) I can no longer have foods that are acidic, spicy, Caffeinated, or anything thing with cooked tomatoes or onion or garlic (I know, might as well just curl up and die, right?). So essentially there goes anything ethnic (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Mexican, Indian,etc…)

    There is a HUGE need for healthy and tasty foods that the many of us who suffer with this can eat.

    So…it would be great if you could convert any of your wonderful recipes into GERD-friendly ones. It’s probably asking the impossible but…??

      There are drugs for GERD! I have it and take Nexium and Domperidone with Gaviscon tablets as a backup when necessary. I have not cut any of those foods out of my diet, I could not live without garlic.
